This Forum is intended to bring together leading researchers in space plasma physics to discuss recent advances in the field. The Forum is also expected to provide the MSc students enrolled in the new Space Physics program at Sofia University broader exposure to this modern science.

The BPU-6 Student Conference belongs to a series of general physics student conferences organized under the auspices of the Balkan Physical Union (BPU). The previous conferences were organized in Izmir / Turkey (1994), Bansko / Bulgaria (1996), Cluj-Napoca / Romania (1997) and twice Bodrum / Turkey (2006 and 2007).
